In the first 11 months of 2004 volume of repo transactions at KASE reached KZT5,021.2 bn. and grew 1.7 times

/IRBIS, Ranida Gabdeyeva, December 6, 04/ - During the first 11 months of 2004 volume of repo transactions made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT5,021.2 bn. ($36,918.7 m.) and compared to similar period of last year has increased 1.73 times (1.90 times in dollar terms). In 2003 volume of transactions at KASE equaled to KZT3,208.9 bn. ($21,523.6 m.). Following is the table of volumes of repo deals made at KASE in 2004 grouped by months as well as the structure of the turnover and comparable data for year 2003 (m.
