/SUPPLEMENTED/ Alliance Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) attracted syndicated loan for the amount of USD23.5

/IRBIS, Nataliya Kuznetsova, December 1, 04, text after the second paragraph supplemented from press-release of the bank/ - Alliance Bank JSC (Almaty), whose shares and bonds are traded in the official "A" listing category of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), informed KASE with official letter that on November 25, 2004 the bank attracted syndicated loan for the amount of USD23.5 m. with six months term with option for prolongation for six months. Organizers of loan were English Standard Bank London and Austrian Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG. Participants of syndicate, including organizers, are 12 foreign banks and financial institutes from Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Canada, China and Latvia. In press release of the bank, assimilated today, it is noted, that the first unsecured syndicated loan of Alliance Bank JSC. In December 2003 the bank attracted syndicated loan in the amount of USD10 m. with one-year term for pre-export financing of gold, which was redeemed in September 2004. Attracted new funds will be used for financing of export and import contracts of bank clients. During 2005 the bank plans to attract two more syndicated loans and actively got to international capital market. Also it is informed, that plans on accumulation of volume of attraction of foreign financial funds in 2005 are tightly connected with work on increase of authorized capital of the bank (September 28, 2004 at prescheduled general meeting of bank shareholders decision to increase authorized capital up to KZT28 bn. during 2004 - 2005).
