Relative to comparable period of 2003 there is growth of:

• shareholders' equity - by KZT12.4 bn. because of growth of additional unpaid capital by 7.7 bn., total sum of undistributed income - by 4.6 bn. and paid authorized capital - by 50.1 m.
• assets - by KZT9.1 bn. because of growth of residual value of fixed assets (including construction in process) by 7.0 bn., accounts receivable - by 1.5 bn. and other assets - by 1.1 bn., while volume of inventory fell by 531.4 m.;
• sales volume - by KZT6.2 bn.;
• cost of goods sold - by KZT2.3 bn.;
• expenses of the period - by KZT1.9 bn.

Liabilities fell down by KZT3.3 bn. in comparison with 9 months of 2003 because of decrease of negative goodwill by 6.1 bn. and other liabilities - by 545.3 m. that was partially covered by growth of borrowed loans volume (excluding bonds) by 2.5 bn. and accounts payable - by 929.1 m.

Net income, which NAC Kazatomprom earned in the reported period, has exceeded its net income of 9 months of 2003 by KZT3.0 bn.

Company's primary activities: national operator on export and import of uranium and its compounds, nuclear fuel for atomic power stations, special equipment and technologies, materials of double usage.
