Consolidated indicators of Kazakhstan interbank currency market in October of 2004
/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, November 8, 04/ - IRBIS Information agency of financial markets (Almaty) has generalized the official information provided by the National bank and the data of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange Inc. (KASE) on interbank currency market of Kazakhstan in October and September of 2004. Results of such generalization are in the table below.

Information on exchange market is based on KASE data, information on over-the-counter market is based on National bank's data. KASE market share is calculated on the basis of comparable operations, since non- residents of Kazakhstan are not allowed to operate at KASE.
It should be noted that National Bank has corrected its data on the market in September, which was given by IRBIS agency one month ago. So, information published in the tables above for this period differs from the one, which was published before.
