NAC Kazatomprom (Kazakhstan) pays the 5th coupon on its 1st issue bonds

/KASE, October 4, 04/ - NAC Kazatomprom (Almaty) has informed Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) that on October 1 of 2004 the company paid the fifth coupon to holders of its indexed on tenge devaluation level bonds of the first issue (KZ2CKY05A523; KASE's official "А" listing category, KZAPb1; KZT100, KZT2,300.0 m; April 1, 02 - April 1, 07, semi-annual coupon 8.5% APR). According to the issuer's information KZT26,236,451.02 have been charged. Sum of deducted income tax amounted KZT18,552.92. Actually a total of KZT26,217,898.10 have been paid to bondholders excluding income tax. Judging on the mentioned sum of coupon payment, by register fixation date (September 1, 04) 30.4% of registered bonds were in circulation. [2004-10-04]
