Within the first 7 months of 2004 volume of all transactions at KASE reached equivalent of $29,251.8 m. and grew 1.7 times

/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, August 11, 04/ - In January-July of 2004 total volume of transactions made in all sectors of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) reached equivalent of $29,251.8 m., or KZT 4,030.3 bn. Compared to similar period of 2003 volume of transactions increased 1.68 times measured in dollars and 1.53 times measured in tenge. Relative to previous period -June-December of 2003 - stock exchange's turnover increased by 28.1% measured in dollars and 20.0% measured in tenge. USD, unless otherwise specified).
