In the I quarter of 2004 Kazakhmys increased refined copper production to 212,089 tons

/REUTERS, Almaty, July 7, 04/ - Kazakhstan copper corporation Kazakhmys in January-June of 2004 increased refined copper production to 212,089 tons from 203,200 tons in similar period of last year, the company informed. In June the corporation produced 37,443 tons of refined copper. In January-June the corporation issued commodity output for KZT82.124 bn. (about $593 m. at the average rate of the period), that was more by 23.548 bn. than in similar period of last year.
