BTA to prolong $245 million syndicated loan agreement

/Kazakhstan today, June 28, 04/ - TuranAlem Bank JSC (BTA) will prolong A transaction of $245 million syndicated loan agreement signed on 1 August 2003 with Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. It was reported by the press service of the bank, KZ-today informs. The financial assets will be used for commercial transactions of the bank clients. Besides, having regard to the information given by the press service, BTA intends to increase a transaction volume through attracting new investors. Currently, BTA prepared a program of visits to the banks of the Middle East and Asia, its priority trend is investors base enlargement all over the world. Currently, BTA is the second large bank in Kazakhstan. The bank assets - more than $3 billion (12-13 places in CIS), bank capital exceeds $259 million. [2004-06-28]
