Income coefficients of Kazakhstan pension funds in Apr 2003 - Apr 2004 according to AFN
/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, May 21, 04/ - Kazakhstan Agency on financial market and financial organization regulation and supervision (the Agency) has calculated coefficients of real and nominal returns of accumulative pension funds (APF) operating in Kazakhstan for April 2003 - April 2004.
Data appears in the table below. In this table IRBIS agency incorporated the data of the National bank and the Agency on net assets under APFs management (assets minus liabilities on commissions charged and deferred pension benefits) at May 1, 2003 and May 1, 2004. Assets are expressed in US dollar terms at the weighted average exchange rate determined in the course of Stock Exchange trades at mentioned dates. In parentheses the difference with previous month is given.

Weighted average coefficient of real income on pension assets of accumulative pension funds mentioned above including SAPF for April - April 2004, according to the Agency's data, is minus 0.93% (minus 0.26% and minus 0.73% for two previous periods in the reverse chronological order respectively).
Nominal income coefficient (К2), according the Agency's methods, reflects the profitability of APF assets calculated by accruing totals.
Real income coefficient (К3) - the Agency's estimation of assets yield including index of consumer prices in Kazakhstan which equaled according to the National Bank's data to 106.5 (106.5; 106.4) for the period.
