/KASE, July 18, 2024/ – ForteBank JSC (Astana), whose securities are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has informed KASE about the
following:

On July 12, 2024, the international rating agency Moody's Investors Service
announced its decision to affirm the Bank's long-term deposit rating at "Ba2",
the rating outlook is "Positive", and to upgrade the Baseline Credit Assessment
(BCA), which is not a rating, from "b1" to "ba3", with the upgrade reflecting
improvements in ForteBank's asset quality, profitability and solvency. A
consistent strategy, moderate risk appetite and favorable operating environment
have helped the bank address some of its historical key lending challenges.
Currently the Bank's ratings are as follows:
- Long-term rating for deposits in local and foreign currencies "Ba2";
- Short-term deposit rating – "NP";
- Long-term counterparty risk rating "Ba1" (cr);
- Short-term counterparty risk rating "NP" (cr);
- Outlook: "Positive"
