As of April 1, additions to client questionnaires regarding the organization of combating the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and terrorism financing will come into effect

/KASE, April 1, 2024/ – By a decision of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE, or the Exchange) dated March 29, 2024, additions to the following questionnaires were approved: - addition No. 1 to Questionnaire No. 1 of foreign financial organizations on the organization of combating the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and the terrorism financing; - addition No. 1 to Questionnaire No. 1 of the Exchange's clients on issues of organizing counteraction to the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and the terrorism financing; - addition No. 1 to Questionnaire No. 2 of foreign financial organizations on the organization of combating the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and the terrorism financing; - addition No. 1 to Questionnaire No. 2 of the Exchange's clients on issues of organizing combating the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and the terrorism financing; - addition No. 2 to Questionnaire No. 3 of foreign financial organizations on the organization of combating the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and the terrorism financing; - addition No. 2 to Questionnaire No. 3 of the Exchange's clients on the organization of combating the legalization (laundering) of illegal income and the terrorism financing. Additions to the above questionnaires include: - the client has internal policies and procedures on anti-corruption issues; - the presence of an anti-corruption service or a responsible person performing these functions; - application of international standards in its activities as part of the fight against bribery and corruption (ABC); - description of internal requirements for combating corruption and creating an anti-corruption culture; - extension of these requirements to subsidiaries, branches and representative offices of the client (if any).
