Within 2 months of 2004 volume of all transactions at KASE reached equivalent of $7,073.2 m. and grew 1.6 times
/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, March 5, 04/ - In January-February of 2004 total volume of transactions made in all sectors of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) reached equivalent of $7,073.2 m., or KZT990.5 bn. Compared to similar period of 2003 volume of transactions increased 1.6 times measured in dollars and 1.5 times measured in tenge. Relative to previous period - November-December of 2003 - stock exchange's turnover decreased by 1.1% measured in dollars and 5.0% measured in tenge.
