whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has
provided KASE with the following communique dated October 18, 2023:

Sustainalytics agency has conducted the annual end-to-end performance study of
NC KazMunayGas JSC in the sphere of environment, social policy and corporate
Governance (ESG) for 2022.
Management of ESG risks by KMG was assessed by the rating agency at 32.3
points, while previously the rating was 28.5 points.
In the comparative rating, KMG moved from the 18th position to the 40th position
among 306 global oil-and-gas companies rated by Sustainalytics.
