We are pleased to announce that Fitch Ratings has affirmed the credit rating of
MFO "Arnur Credit" LLP (hereinafter – Arnur Credit) at "B". The outlook is
"Stable". Fitch has also assigned a national rating at "BB+(kaz)".
Arnur Credit's rating reflects its small franchise in the microfinance sector in
Kazakhstan, its focus on higher risk clients (including the seasonal agricultural
segment and small SMEs), only basic underwriting standards and risk control, a
small absolute capital size, and wholesale funds dependent on trust. The ratings
also reflect Arnur Credit's moderate and well-controlled credit losses, good
capital adequacy ratios and stable profitability.
