/KASE, July 27, 2023/ – According to KASE's internal document "Methodology
for Determining Liquidity Indicators of Securities", Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) approved August 2023 lists of first, second and third liquidity class
shares, depositary receipts and securities of investment funds selected from
those listed on KASE (hereinafter – Securities lists).
The lists of securities were approved by a decision of the Committee for Indices
and Indicators (the Committee) dated July 24, 2023 and generated in order to
apply the norms of KASE's internal documents to the securities contained in
them.
The first liquidity class securities list valid from August 1 to August 31, 2023
consists of 44 securities. Compared with the current list of securities of the
first liquidity class, which was formed for July 2023, the list includes:
1) units US78468R6633 ("investment fund securities" sector, US_BIL_) SPDR
Bloomberg Barclays 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF, issued by the SPDR Series Trust
investment fund;
2) common shares US4781601046 ("KASE Global" sector, JNJ_KZ) of Johnson
& Johnson;
3) common shares US92343V1044 (sector "KASE Global", VZ_KZ) of Verizon
Communications Inc.;
4) common shares US5949181045 ("KASE Global" sector, MSFT_KZ) of
Microsoft Corporation;
5) global depositary receipts US63253R2013 ("derivative securities" sector,
KZAPd), the underlying asset of which are common shares KZ1C00001619
(KZAP) of National Atomic Company "Kazatomprom" JSC.
The following securities were removed from the first-class liquidity list, which
was formed for July 2023:
1) common shares US02376R1023 ("KASE Global" sector, AAL_KZ) of
American Airlines;
2) common shares KZ1C00001213 ("unlisted securities" sector, KASE) of
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC;
3) common shares US4581401001 ("KASE Global" sector, INTC_KZ) of Intel
Corporation;
4) common shares US7170811035 ("KASE Global" sector, PFE_KZ) of Pfizer
Inc.;
5) common shares US70450Y1038 ("KASE Global" sector, PYPL_KZ) of
PayPal Holdings Inc.;
6) common shares US67066G1040 ("KASE Global" sector, NVDA_KZ) of
NVIDIA Corp.
