/KASE, July 5, 2023/ – KazTransOil JSC (Astana), with its shares officially
listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press
release dated July 4, 2023, which states the following:

Today as of 15:00 of Astana time, oil pumping stations (OPS) of KazTransOil JSC
operate normally, with the exception of OPS Prorva, OPS Kosshagyl, OPS
Karaton of the Kulsary Oil Pipeline Administration and OPS T. Kasymov, OPS
Makat, OPS Martyshi of the Atyrau Oil Pipeline Administration, whose work has
been restricted. The work of the other stations of “KazTransOil” JSC, where
unscheduled shutdowns occurred because of a power outage, has been fully
restored.
We remind that on July 3, 2023, as a result of an emergency shutdown of power
unit No. 1 of the thermal power plant of MAEK LLP, there was a disruption in the
power supply to consumers of the Mangistau and Atyrau power centers of the
Western Zone of the UES of Kazakhstan. As a results of system accidents,
unscheduled shutdowns occurred at several OPSs of KazTransOil JSC.
Also, as a result of an emergency situation, the following facilities of Main
Waterline LLP were disconnected: VPS-5, VPS-8, WTP Kulsary, which led to a
complete shutdown of the entire system of the Main water pipeline from the
Kigach MWPS to the Karazhanbas WPS.
At that moment, work has been restored, all water pumping stations of Main
waterline LLP are operating as normal.
