NC KTZh CJSC informed about the 5th coupon payment on its bonds of the 2nd issue

/KASE, January 13, 04/ - National company "Kazakstan temir zholy" CJSC (NC KTZh CJSC, Astana) has informed Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) with the official letter that January 12 of 2004 it paid the fifth coupon on its bonds of the second issue (KZ2EUY03A368; KASE's official "A" listing category, TMJLb2; $100, $30.0 m.; July 7, 01 - July 10, 04, semi-annual coupon 8.0% APR). According to issuer's data total sum of payment was KZT170,934,526.85, income tax at the source of the payment ( KZT233,473.15. Register of bonds is maintained by Registration system of securities CJSC (Almaty). Bonds are served at the rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan determined at the day, which preceded the payment date. The issuer has also informed that according to bondholders register, as of December 10 of 2003, 92.5% of issued securities belonged to private accumulative pension funds, 6.6% - to second tier banks, 0.2% - to professional participants of securities market, 0.7% - to other investors.
