KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase-sale market for December of 2003 and for 2003 as a whole

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, January 7, 04/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) determined the list of companies - leading operators of the KASE's government securities (GS) purchase-sale market for December of 2003. Place of company in the list is determined according to the stake of concluded deals in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). The position of each entity was expressed in settlement currency - tenge. A total of 28 companies participated in trades with GS at KASE in November excluding the National Bank of Kazakhstan (banks, broker-dealer companies, pension assets management companies, non-banking financial organizations). Below is the list of 10 the most active operators given in descending order of their shares in total deals volume, and their position in November of 2003.
