/KASE, April 14, 2022/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) notifies you that by
a decision of the Committee on Indices and Indicators dated April 8, 2022, in
accordance with KASE's internal document "Methodology for calculating stock
market indices and indicators" (hereinafter – the Methodology), a representative
list of shares for calculating KASE Index has been determined (hereinafter – the
List) for the next quarter.
In accordance with the mentioned decision, in addition to the shares already on
the List, from May 5, 2022, it will include ordinary shares of Kaspi.kz JSC
(KSPI).
These shares meet all the criteria established by the Methodology for their
inclusion in the List:
- for the period from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, 8,779 transactions
were made with these shares for the amount of 2,068.80 million tenge;
- in each month at least five members of KASE took part in deals with the
mentioned shares.
Trading on KASE in these shares was opened on July 12, 2018, from September 1,
2021 they are included in the list of shares of the first liquidity class.
Thus, from May 5, 2022, when calculating KASE Index, the parameters of the
following shares will be used:

NIN or ISIN – the share's national or international identification number.
Issuer – the share issuer's short name.
Ri – restrictive coefficient – parameter limiting the portion of each share's
influence on the index value down to 0.15 (15 %), calculated for each share once
in a quarter as of February 1, May 1, August 1, November 1, the calculation
procedure for which is regulated by the Methodology.
Fi – parameter obtained as the product of the number of shares in free float as
of 01.04.22, the price of the last deal registered on KASE on 13.04.22 and
coefficient Ri.
After the decision of the Committee on Indices and Indicators comes into effect,
that is, at the beginning of May 5, 2022, the values of the coefficients Ri will
be adjusted in accordance with the share prices as of May 1, 2022.
Portion – the portion of the total market value of a particular stock in the
total market value of all stocks listed on KASE Index's representative list. It
is expressed in percentage.
