officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with
the following press release dated March 16, 2022:

Kazakhtelecom JSC has published consolidated financial statements for 2021,
according to which the Group of Companies of the country's largest telecom
operator has again achieved growth in all the main financial indicators of its
activities. In particular, in 2021, the Group's revenue increased by 13% and
amounted to 594 billion tenge against 527 billion tenge in 2020, and net profit
exceeded 97 billion tenge, having increased over the year by more than 49%.
As noted in the published document, these results were achieved through the
implementation of a strategy that focuses on maintaining the company's
leadership position in all market segments. And also on the maximum use of
synergies of various assets within the Group, including mobile operators –
Mobile Telecom-Service LLP and Kcell JSC. As a result, last year the group's
revenue increased in both fixed line and mobile segments.
It is also worth noting that revenue growth under strict cost control provided a
significant increase in the efficiency of the group of companies: EBITDA
(earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and accrued amortization) in 2021
also increased compared to the previous same period by 13% (278.2 billion
tenge in 2021 against 246.3 billion tenge in 2020). The EBITDA margin remained
at 47% for the year.
The audited financial statements of the Group, previously approved by the Board
of Directors of Kazakhtelecom JSC and subject to final approval by the General
Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for April 29, 2022, are disclosed on the
company's corporate website.
On March 14, 2022, the Board of Directors of Kazakhtelecom JSC decided to
submit a proposal on the amount of dividends for 2021 in the amount of 3,590.39
tenge per ordinary share of Kazakhtelecom JSC for consideration by the annual
General Meeting of Shareholders.
