/KASE, February 28, 2022/ – According to KASE's internal document "Methodology
for Determining Liquidity Indicators of Securities", Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) approved March 2022 lists of first, second and third liquidity class
shares, depositary receipts and securities of investment funds selected from
those listed on KASE (hereinafter – Securities lists).
The lists of securities were approved by a decision of the Committee for Indices
and Indicators dated February 23, 2022 and generated in order to apply the
norms of KASE's internal documents to the securities contained in them.
The first liquidity class securities list valid from March 1 to 31, 2022
consists of 39 securities. Compared with the current list of securities of the
first liquidity class, which was formed for February 2022, the list includes:
1) common shares US0079031078 ("KASE Global" sector, AMD_KZ) of
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (USA);
2) common shares US30303M1027 ("KASE Global" sector, FB_KZ) of Meta
Platforms, Inc. (USA;
3) common shares US5951121038 ("KASE Global" sector, MU_KZ) of Micron
Technology, Inc. (USA);
4) common shares GB00BMH19X50 (KASE alternative market, "shares" sector,
GB_ALTN) of AltynGold plc. (United Kingdom);
5) common shares US1912161007 ("KASE Global" sector, KO_KZ) of The
Coca-Cola Company (USA);
6) preferred shares KZ0009089736 (KASE main market, "standard" category,
MMGZp) of Mangistaumunaigaz JSC;
7) common shares US5949181045 ("KASE Global" sector, MSFT_KZ) of
Microsoft Corporation (USA);
8) units RU000A1027E5 (sector "securities of investment funds",
RU_UKFFvdo) of the closed-end unit investment trust (CLIF) of market
financial instruments "VDO Fund for Developing Russian Companies"
managed by Management Company "East-West" LLC (Russia).
The following securities were removed from the list of the first class of
liquidity, which was formed for February 2022:
1) common shares KZ1C00001254 (KASE alternative market, "shares" sector,
KMGD) of KM GOLD JSC;
2) common shares US7170811035 ("KASE Global" sector, PFE_KZ) of Pfizer
Inc. (USA);
3) common shares US88160R1014 ("KASE Global" sector, TSLA_KZ) of Tesla,
Inc. (USA);
4) shares US4642882249 ("investment fund securities" sector, US_ICLN)
iShares Global Clean Energy ETF issued by investment trust iShares Trust;
5) preferred shares KZ0009094645 (KASE main market, "premium" category,
KZTKp) of Kazakhtelecom JSC.
