the following press release January 19, 2022:
quote
ForteBank became the first bank to pass the state accreditation of the
Certification Center in cloud services under the new rules approved at the end
of 2020. During the implementation, tremendous work was carried out with a
supplier of cryptographic equipment in terms of improving security, a digital
cabinet was created with biometric identification for key management, and even
a Blockchain was introduced into the signing process. This accreditation
confirms the compliance of the bank with all the requirements established by
the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the electronic digital
signature.
For ForteBank's clients, this means that in the near future a new service will
become available to them – the issuance of an electronic digital signature
(EDS), without going to a branch. Documents submitted online and signed with an
EDS will have the same legal force as paper documents signed with one's own
hand.
