/IRBIS, September 2, 03/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) determined the list of companies - leading operators of the KASE's government securities (GS) purchase-sale market for August of 2003.

Place of company in the list is determined according to the stake of concluded deals in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). The position of each entity was expressed in currency of the payments - tenge.

A total of 27 companies participated in trades with GB at KASE in August excluding the National Bank of Kazakhstan (banks, broker-dealer companies, pension assets management companies, SAPF, non-banking financial organizations). Below is the list of 10 the most active operators given in descending order of their shares in total deals volume, and their position in July of 2003. Stake of these operators is 83.8% of turnover of corresponding sector of the exchange's market.
