overview of the equity market in July 2021.

KASE index closed in the red zone at 3,086.66 points for the second month in a
row: the decline in July amounted to 7.7% or 257.41 points. The volume of
transactions in index shares in July amounted to 8.3 billion tenge, which is
96.9% or 4.1 billion tenge more than in June. The largest volume of trades fell
on common shares of Kcell JSC - 6.5 billion tenge (77.5% of the total volume of
trades in index shares).

According to the results of July, among the companies from the KASE Index
representative list, common shares of KEGOC JSC showed growth. Over the
month, they rose in price by 1.5% and almost completely recovered after the
decline caused by the dividend payment register fixed in May this year.
A slight growth by the results of the month by 0.3% was shown by common
shares of Bank CenterCredit JSC. The international rating agency S&P Global
Ratings on July 22 affirmed the bank's long-term rating at B/B "stable".
In July, the main downward pressure on the index was put by common shares of
Kcell JSC, the price of which fell by 31.7% over the month. Within the framework
of the "Issuer Day" held by KASE on July 30, the management of this company
expressed their vision, according to which the price reduction is a temporary
phenomenon, formed against the background of the post-dividend period and
delisting of global depositary receipts.
Despite the fact that uranium prices remain close to the maximums over the past
five years, the price of common shares of National Atomic Company
Kazatomprom JSC in July fell by 12%, which is a post-dividend correction. On
July 26, the company paid dividends on ordinary shares for 2020 for a total
amount of 150.1 billion tenge or 578.67 tenge per share. In addition, the
company announced long-term production plans in July, having confirmed that it
will keep its uranium production in 2023 at the 2022 level.
Additional pressure on stock prices in July was put by external markets
uncertainty and, as a result, a decline in emerging markets.
According to the results of the month, the price of shares of Kazakhtelecom JSC
decreased by 5.5%, shares of Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC - by 3.3%.
Shares of KazTransOil JSC decreased over the past month by 1.4%. In July, the
company said the international rating agency Fitch Ratings affirmed its
long-term issuer default rating at BBB-, Outlook Stable, on July 2, 2021 and
also provided production results for the first half of 2021. The volume of oil
transportation to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the
system of main oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC increased compared to the same
period in 2020 by 723 thousand tons, or 10%, and amounted to 8 million 100
thousand tons. However, in general, 20 million 428 thousand tons of oil were
transported through the system of main oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC, which
is 1 million 82 thousand tons less than in the first half of 2020.

At the end of July, the capitalization of the equity market amounted to 28.3
trillion tenge (66.8 billion USD), which is 8.3 trillion tenge or 41.3% higher
than the same indicator of the previous month. The equity market capitalization
growth is associated with the conclusion of deals in common shares of Kaspi.kz
JSC on KASE, for the first time since the IPO of this company.
As of the end of July, shares of 138 denominations of 122 issuers were in the
KASE's trade lists, of which shares of four denominations of four issuers were
admitted to circulation in the "unlisted securities" sector. In the reporting
month, new shares were not included in the official list of KASE.
