/IRBIS, July 02, 03/ - During the first half year of 2003 volume of corporate
securities (CS) transactions made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE)
reached an equivalent of $474.8 m, or KZT72.0 bn and compared to similar
period of last year increased by $308.6m (KZT46.7 bn) or 2.86 times (in
tenge - 2.84).
In 2002 volume of CS transactions at KASE was an equivalent of
USD603.6m or KZT93.2 bn.
