AMB (Kazakhstan) has chosen lead-manager for eurobonds issue

/REUTERS, Almaty, June 25, 03/ - AMB, which is one of five largest Kazakhstan banks, has chosen JP Morgan as the lead-manager for the forthcoming eurobonds issue, deputy chairman of the Board of AMB informed Reuters. "Today we made decision about appointing JP Morgan as the lead-manager of the forthcoming bonds issue", - Timur Isatayev said on Tuesday. Details of the issue will be announced later. In the first half-year two largest Kazakhstan banks - Kazkommertsbank and TuranAlem - floated eurobonds for the record for country's banking system sum $725 million. Analysts agree in the opinion that splash of investors' interest in bonds of countries with developing economy, which is observed in latest time, lets Kazakhstan banks borrow on very advantageous terms. AMB first confirmed the circulating at the market rumors about the imminent eurobonds issue.
