/KASE, February 17, 2021/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE, or the Exchange)
informs you that on February 17, 2021, an award ceremony was held for
the most distinguished members of KASE in 2020.
Subsidiary of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" JSC became the winner
in the nomination "Underwriter of the Year" in the corporate bond market.
The following companies were awarded in the nomination "Leader of the
market":
- Freedom Finance JSC – in the equity market, corporate bond market and
government securities;
- Citibank Kazakhstan JSC – in the foreign currency market.
The following companies were awarded in the nomination "Market-maker of the
year":
- Subsidiary Organization of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" JSC –
on the equity market;
- "BCC Invest" - a subsidiary of Bank CenterCredit JSC – in the corporate bond
market;
- Freedom Finance JSC – on the government securities market.
The following companies became the winners in the following nominations:
- "For significant contribution to the attraction of investors" – Freedom
Finance JSC;
- "Best Financial Advisor" – Halyk Global Markets JSC (subsidiary of Halyk
Bank of Kazakhstan JSC) and Subsidiary of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk
Finance" JSC;
- "For contribution to the development of the sector "International financial
organizations" – Tengri Partners Investment Banking (Kazakhstan) JSC;
- "The largest volume on the secondary equity market" – SkyBridge Invest JSC;
- "For the contribution to the development of the exchange market of the
Chinese yuan" – Subsidiary Bank "Bank of China in Kazakhstan" JSC;
- "For contribution to the development of the exchange market of the Russian
ruble" – Subsidiary Bank of Sberbank of Russia JSC.
