Today ceremony of signing of agreements with EBRD about buying of 15% of voting shares of KAZKOMMERTSBANK OJSC will take place

/IRBIS, June 5, 03/ - KAZKOMMERTSBANK OJSC (Almaty) has sent invitation to professional participants of Kazakhstan financial market and mass media to the ceremony of signing of agreements with European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) about buying of 15% common voting shares of KAZKOMMERTSBANK OJSC. The ceremony will take place on June 6 of 2003 at 19:00 of Almaty time in the hotel Hyatt Regency Almaty (halls Ibray and Makhambet). The invitation says that EBRD buys voting shares of a CIS bank for the first time. After signing of documents there will be held press-conference, during which one can come to know what meaning this event has for KAZKOMMERTSBANK OJSC and as the whole for improvement of corporate governance in Kazakhstan banking system, increasing of transparency and setting of new standards of service.
