/IRBIS, June 3, 03/ - In the first five months of 2003 volume of transactions in corporate securities (CS), which were made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached equivalent of $429.0 m., (KZT65.2 bn.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by $272.7 m., (KZT41.4 bn) or 2.75 times as much (2.74 times in tenge equivalent).

In 2002 volume of CS transactions at KASE was equivalent of USD603.6 m or KZT93.2 bn.
