/IRBIS, June 3, 03/ - Within the first five months of 2003 volume of repo transactions at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT1,171,465.7 m ($7,674.1 m) and increased by 30.1% relative to similar period of last year.

In 2002 volume of such transactions at KASE was equal to KZT2,809.4 bn ($18,274.2 m).
