Kazakhstan auditors state about the necessity of governmental support for development of domestic market of auditing services
/Kazakhstan today, May 30, 03/ - In order to develop domestic market of auditing services Kazakhstan needs governmental support. Kazakhstan auditors said about it during their first congress, which was opened in Almaty on May 30.
In particular, participants of congress said that one of measures which would promote to growth of this market's segment in the republic was removal of unreasonable prohibitions for services in sphere of audit and financial consulting, strengthening of requirements to auditor firms and Chamber of auditors concerning controlling the quality of services given by them, increasing of level of training and certification of the qualification commission up to the international level.
Auditors also turned with the request to the National Bank's governing body to reconsider its position concerning admission of domestic auditor firms, which had corresponding license, to audit of second tier banks. Having proved it so that many auditor organizations now are ready to this work: have the corresponding status and the prepared staff.
At the same time the chairman of returning board on controlling over republican budget performance Zhaksybek Kulekeev, who spoke at the congress, has emphasized that when the question is carrying out of audit not in small enterprises, " services of Kazakhstan auditors are not trusted". In this connection it was recommended to Chamber of auditors of RK to create conditions and preconditions, and also "to mobilize the best forces " in order to organize in the country 1-2 strong auditor companies, which would be able to win necessary trust. However, in Kulekeev's opinion, appearance of such respectable domestic companies with international recognition is possible in the long-term outlook.
At present more than 300 auditor firms are acting at Kazakhstan market, 112 of which are members of the republican Chamber of auditors.
