/KASE, November 20, 2020/ – Samruk-Energy (Nur-Sultan), whose bonds are
officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with
the following communique dated November 20, 2020:

Centralized trading in electricity for the Northern and Southern zones of the
Single Electric Power System (SEPS) of the republic took place in Kazakhstan,
taking into account the capacity of power transmission lines connecting the
Northern and Southern zones of the SEPS of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The
trades took place at the platform of KOREM JSC, the Kazakh operator of the
electricity and power market.
The total trading volume falling on the Northern and Southern zones of the SEPS
of the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 5,178.91 MWt. The total volume of
the supply of services for maintaining the readiness of electric capacity
amounted to 5875 MWt.
According to preliminary estimates, power plants of Samruk-Energy JSC sold
2,768 MWt at the auction, including: Almaty Electric Power Plants JSC – 490
MWt, Ekibastuz GRES-2 Station JSC – 625 MWt, Ekibastuz B. Nurzhanov GRES-1 LLP –
1,653 MWt.
The conducted capacity trades will allow maintaining an uninterrupted operation
of the power facilities of Samruk-Energy JSC in 2021.
