Correction in legislative acts concerning matters of banking activity and exchange regulation have been admitted

/Kazakhstan today, April 24, 03/ - Today, on April 24 during the plenary
session of the senate deputies passed the law "About including of changes and
additions into some legislative acts of RK concerning the matters of banking
activity, exchange regulation and exchange control", a correspondent of
KZ-today informed.
The law introduces norms, which provide liberalization of individual currency
transactions. In particular, increasing of terms of payments in export-import
deals from 120 to 180 days, and on goods export, list of which is determined by
the government, to 365 days. Besides, the right of banks for conducting of
broker and dealer activity in government securities of the countries, which
have minimal required rating of one of rating agencies, is provided.
The law has been given for the country's president's signing.
