/KASE, July 16, 2020/ – On July 15, 2020, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE),
within the framework of the project "Issuer Day", held an online meeting in ZOOM
with executives of Kazakhtelecom JSC for investors, professional participants of
the securities market and media representatives, dedicated to the results of the
company's activities for the first quarter of 2020.
The results of the reporting period of 2020, operational and financial
indicators of Kazakhtelecom JSC were presented at the meeting.
Revenue for the first quarter of 2020 amounted to KZT122 bn, EBITDA margin
reached 47%, and the indicator itself made up KZT57 bn. Capital investments for
the reporting period amounted to KZT11 bn.
Kazakhtelecom JSC is a major telephony operator in Kazakhstan and has the
status of a national company. Today it is one of the most active issuers in the
stock market with credit ratings from S&P (BB+, outlook "stable") and Fitch
(BBB-, outlook "stable"). Kazakhtelecom shares are included in the
representative list of KASE Index.
