KazTransGas raises a loan worth EUR243 mln to restructure loans and to maintain liquidity
/KASE, July 7, 2020/ – KazTransGas (Nur-Sultan), whose bonds are officially listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the press release dated July 2, 2020, which states as follows:

Kazakhstan's national gas and gas transport operator, KazTransGas, has raised credit resources worth EUR243 mln from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to maintain liquidity during economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the EBRD, financing package consists of several loans in national and foreign currency.
This includes a loan of EUR100 mln provided to support the company's needs in working capital.
The loan worth KZT53.7 bn (EUR115.3 mln) will be used to restructure the loan of of Intergas Central Asia’s subsidiary responsible for the operation and maintenance of gas transmission networks.
It is planned to use up to KZT12.9 bn (EUR27.6 mln) to restructure the loan of the subsidiary, KazTransGas Aimak, the largest gas supply company in the country, which operates gas distribution pipelines in ten regions of Kazakhstan.
