Kazakhstan Alliance Bank increases authorized capital up to KZT5 bn

/Kazakhstan today, March 17, 03/ - Kazakhstan Alliance Bank intends to increase its authorized capital up to KZT5 bn, the bank's press-service informed. The decision about the next increase of the authorized capital by KZT2 bn by means of additional issue of 200 th. common inscribed shares with the face value equaling to KZT10 th. each was made on February 25 of 2003 at the prescheduled general shareholders meeting. During last year the bank's authorized capital increased by 54%. According to the bank's data, during the year its assets increased 3.2 times and as of March 1 of 2003 were equaled to KZT26.4 bn, deposit base increased 3.8 times to KZT18.9 bn. According to results of February of this year stake of Alliance Bank at term deposits market took 4% or the 6th place among Kazakhstan banks. The bank's credit portfolio increased within this period 2.8 times and as of March 1 of 2003 equaled to KZT19.9 bn. [2003-03-17]
