KASE determined leading operators of stock exchange's CS purchase and sale market in Kazakhstan for February and first two months of 2003

/IRBIS, March 5, 03/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has determined the lists of companies - leading operators of the KASE corporate securities (CS) market in Kazakhstan for February of 2003. Place of company in the list is determined in total gross turnover of trades (amount of purchased and sold shares and bonds). At this, unlike 2002 only CS purchase and sale operations are taken into account. Work of brokers at securities primary floatation at stock exchange's specialized trades is not taken into account because of the fact that securities sale at such trades is conducted by the only participant, which is underwriter or financial consultant of an issuer. Deals in the sector of trade in state blocks of shares (SBS) is not taken into account either when making the lists because the system of SBS sales reminds very much specialized trades on securities primary floatation (they are taken into account in another rating). Position of each trade participant is shown in tenge. Below is the full list of operators, which worked in this stock exchange's market's sector in February of 2003, in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume.
