National Atomic Company Kazatomprom informs that Fitch Ratings affirmed
Kazatomprom's Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BBB-' with Stable Outlook.
Fitch issued statement that announced rating affirmation and Stable outlook as
well as relevant analysis on March 26, 2020. More detailed information is

Fitch rates Kazatomprom on a standalone credit profile as it views legal,
operational and strategic links with its ultimate shareholder, the Republic of
Kazakhstan (BBB/Stable) as limited.
The affirmation reflects Kazatomprom’s strong global market position in natural
uranium production and sales, stable operating profile and low-cost production
compared to similar companies on the global scale.
