Fitch rates Kazatomprom on a standalone credit profile as it views legal, operational and strategic links with its ultimate shareholder, the Republic of Kazakhstan (BBB/Stable) as limited.
The affirmation reflects Kazatomprom’s strong global market position in natural uranium production and sales, stable operating profile and low-cost production compared to similar companies on the global scale.
