/KASE, March 18, 2020/ – Samruk-Energy (Nur-Sultan), whose bonds are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following
communiqué dated March 18, 2020:

All strategic energy-producing and coal-mining organizations of Kazakhstan's
largest energy holding Samruk-Energy are operating as usual. During the state
of emergency, the enterprise's employees take measures to prevent the spread
of coronavirus infection.
As of March 18 of the current year, since the beginning of the month, the
volume of electricity generated by the holding amounted to 1,633,561 thousand
kWh, which is 108% of the target figures. Since the beginning of the year,
power plants have generated 7,651,506 thousand kWh, with target figures of
7,704,667 thousand. kWh, or 99% of the target figures.
In order to prevent diseases among employees in Samruk-Energy JSC and its
power generating subsidiaries, Rapid Response Headquarters were formed
with the approval of Action Plans for the prevention of the spread of
coronavirus infection.
As part of these measures, a set of measures is being implemented at the
power plants, including sanitary treatment of vehicles for personnel delivery,
as well as the processing of work and domestic premises, the cancellation of
all sports and cultural events, enhanced medical examination of workers, the
purchase of medical masks, remote thermometers, thermal cameras, etc.
Information on prevention of coronavirus infection is posted on information
boards in all workshops and departments of enterprises.
