/REUTERS, Astana, February 26, 03/ - President of Kazakhstan has appointed Talgatbek Abaidildin, who filled the post of the first deputy of industrial East-Kazakhstan oblast's head as akim (the head) of the same oblast, said press-secretary of the prime-minister Murat Buldebekov to Reuters.

Vitaliy Mette, who headed East-Kazakhstan oblast before, has been appointed the head of the national company Kazoboronprom. The new company will unite 24 defense enterprises of the country, the press-secretary added.
