/KASE, February 28, 2020/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE, or the Exchange)
announces that a ceremony of presenting awards to the best performing members
of the Exchange according to 2019 results was held on
February 28, 2020.
The following companies won the award in the nomination "The underwriter
of the year on the corporate bond market":
- SkyBridge Invest;
- Subsidiary of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance".
The following companies received awards in the nomination "Market leader":
- Freedom Finance – on the equity market;
- Freedom Finance – on the corporate bond market;
- Freedom Finance and Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance"
– on the government securities market;
- subsidiary of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" – on the
corporate bond market;
- Citibank Kazakhstan – on the foreign currencies market;
- Centras Securities – on the unit investment funds market.
The following companies received awards in the nomination "Market-maker of
the year":
- Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" – on the equity market;
- BCC Invest, subsidiary of Bank CenterCredit – on the corporate bond
market.
Freedom Finance received an award in the nomination "For significant
contribution to attracting investors".
Kazakhstan Stability Fund (successor of Baspana JSC) and European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development received awards in the nomination "For
issuing activity".
