Bonds KZ2C00001634 (KASTb3) of KAZEXPORTASTYK Holding removed from KASE Official List as of January 23

/KASE, January 23, 2020/ – The Listing Commission of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) made a decision on January 22, 2020 to remove bonds KZ2C00001634 (KASE
main market, category "bonds", KASTb3; kZT1,000, KZT40.0 bn; July 18, 2011 – July
18, 2029; annual coupon 8.00 % APR; 30/360) of KAZEXPORTASTYK Holding (Nur-Sultan)
from KASE Official List.
This decision of the Listing Commission comes into effect on January 23, 2020.
The KASE conclusion report dated January 15, 2020 says that the company in its
letter of November 26, 2019 informed that it is unable to pay coupon interest
on said bonds for the periods from February 23, 2015 to July 17, 2015 and from
July 18, 2018 to November 15, 2019 on a timely basis by November 29, 2019.
According to sub-item 1) of item 16 of the Requirements to Issuers and Their
Securities Being Admitted (Admitted) to Trading on a Stock Exchange and
Requirements to Specific Categories of a Stock Exchange’s List approved by the
Resolution of Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 54
dated March 27, 2017, issuer’s default on payment of interest on its obligations
serves as justification for the transfer of its debt securities to the "buffer
category" category of KASE Official List.
On December 30, 2019, the company submitted the Action Plan on rectifying the
grounds for the transfer of its bonds to the category "buffer category" of the
KASE Official List approved by the Board of Directors’ resolution dated December
27, 2019 (Action Plan).
The Listing Commission rejected the Action Plan by its decision.
Based on the foregoing and in accordance with sub-item 4) of item 35 of the
Requirements, these bonds have been excluded from the KASE Official List.
These bonds were included in KASE Official List under category "Rated Debt
Securities" on July 18, 2011. They have been in main market’s category "bonds"
of KASE Official List since June 1, 2017.
Trades in them opened on October 17, 2011.
