Development Bank of Kazakhstan announces press tour to a new wind power plant Astana EXPO-2017

/KASE, November 28, 2019/ – Development Bank of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided the following press release dated November 28, 2019 to KASE: quote A press tour for representatives of the national mass media to the wind power plant "Astana EXPO-2017" with the capacity of 100 MWt (hereinafter, WPP) of CATEC Green Energy (hereinafter, the Company) located in Kostomar village of Akmola Region was organized with the assistance of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (subsidiary of the Baiterek National Management Holding JSC, hereinafter, the Bank, DBK) in order to provide information to the media on the WPP operations. The construction of the first launch facility of the WPP with the capacity of 50 MWt is DBK’s investment project. The Bank opened funding for the Company for this Project in December 2017. The Project costs KZT45.1 bn. The Bank provided a KZT30.5 bn loan for 10.5 years.
