KazTransOil updates on constructions and reconstruction of Astrakhan-Mangyshlak main water line

/KASE, October 15, 2019/ – KazTransOil (Nur-Sultan), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release of October 15, 2019: quote "KazTransOil" JSC group of companies reports on the completion of the first phase of the Kulsary-Tengiz waterline construction within the framework of the cooperation agreement between "KazTransOil" JSC and "Tengizchevroil" LLP, signed on May 29, 2017. Currently, construction and installation works on the linear part of the waterline have been completed and hydro testing has been carried out. It is planned to complete by the end of the year the second phase of the project, envisaging construction of a water pump station (WPS) with a tank farm, engineering systems and facilities. The new waterline, 104.2 km in length, with throughput capacity of 13,200 cubic meters per day, is designed to supply industrial water for production and technical needs of "Tengizchevroil" LLP. After the completion of the project the water supply will be provided in the amount necessary for the upcoming expansion of "Tengizchevroil" LLP production. The project is funded by "Tengizchevroil" LLP. Besides this, "Main Waterline" LLP is continuing the reconstructing the facilities of the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak main waterline. In particular, the reconstruction of the WPS-8 power supply was completed, reconstruction of the WPS-5 is near completion. A new pipeline was laid to replace the worn out section of the main water line from Kigach HWPS up to 56th kilometer of the pipeline. "Commissioning of the facilities will increase the main waterline throughput capacity from 93 thousand cubic meters to 115 thousand cubic meters of water per day.
