At major mercantile exchanges price for crude oil has fallen to $30.71 per barrel

/Kazakhstan today, January 7, 03/ - At major world mercantile exchanges price
for crude oil, which is produced by states-members of Organization of
countries- exporters of oil (OPEK), and Mexico has fallen to $30.71 per barrel.
About this a correspondent of KZ-today came to know from the message, which was
published in OPEK's official site.
In the opinion of OPEK's experts, it significantly exceeds the upper limit of
the corridor of crude oil pricing corridor, which was developed by OPEK's
governing body and equals to $22-28 per barrel.
During the previous session the price of one barrel of crude oil from "the
bucket" of OPEK was $30.83.
At New-York mercantile exchange of electronic trades "NYMEX" prices for
American oil "Best Texas intermade" on futures contracts with delivery in
February of this year also significantly decreased in comparison with previous
session and equaled to $32.10 per barrel. thus, price fell by almost one dollar
at a time, and the price of March futures fell by 78 cents to $31.44 per
barrel.
Refined mineral oils at "NYMEX" on February futures were traded, as well as
oil, at lower prices: cost of one gallon of gasoline was 88.20 cents that is
less by 3.70 cents than at previous session, and 88.79 cents were offered for
one gallon of fuel mazut that is less by 3.03 cents than at previous trades.
Price for natural gas at NYMEX also fell and was traded on February futures at
$4.94 for 1 th. cubic foots that is less by 4.09 cents in comparison with
previous trades.
