/KASE, April 12, 2019/ - By the letter dated April 9, 2019, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported on the appointment of Eszhan Amantaevich Birtanov, deputy chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a representative of the authorized body in the Board of Directors of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Securities Market", two representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan are members of the KASE Board of Directors.

So far, Zhanat Bostanovich Kurmanov (former deputy chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan) was a member of the KASE Board of Directors as a representative of the authorized body and was the chairman of KASE'S Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors of KASE will consider the election of the chairman of the Board of Directors at its next meeting, which will be additionally announced.
