Results of Kazakhtelecom (Kazakhstan) activity for the first half year of 2002

The following indicators are results of the issuer's financial and economic activity in the six months of 2002, based upon the issuer's information (in th. Net income received by Aluminium of Kazakhstan OJSC by the results of the first half year of 2002 decreased by KZT2.0bn or 2.2 times relative to similar period of 2001. The company's primary activities: production and sale of aluminum, alumina and sodium salts, extraction and concentrating of raw stuff containing aluminum, production of heat and electrical power.
