/KASE, January 22, 2019/ – Samruk-Energy (Astana), whose bonds are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the press
release dated December 29, 2018, which states as follows:

Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov LLP closed the year 2018 having
generated 19.1 bn kWh of electrical energy, which is by 29% higher than the
similar indicator of 2017. Overal share of electrical energy generated by the
Ekibastuz GRES-1 on Kazakhstan’s market amounted to 18,9 %.
The power plant showed full preparedness for autumn-winter season with a record
load of 3,031 MW reached on December 20, 2018 when six power generating unit with
the total design capacity of 3,000 MW. In general, when all eight power generating
facilities work, the installed capacity of the power plant amounts to 4,000 MW.
