Exchange simulator: final trading volume amounted to KZT2,332.3 mln

/KASE, November 2, 2018/ – As announced earlier, the training competition "Exchange simulator" organized by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) was conducted from September 17 to October 17, 2018. Based on the competition results the trading volume reached KZT2,332.3 mln. The average daily volume of transactions in said period exceeded KZT89.7 mln. Based on the competition results, with support from financial institutions 23 students received awards (previously there were 15 awards). For the first time students who formed the largest investment portfolio based on the competition results, were provided with an opportunity to take guaranteed paid job training in financial companies like Freedom Finance, Centras Securities, CAIFC INVESTMENT GROUP, CIB SB VTB Bank Kazakhstan, Altyn Bank, Capital Bank Kazakhstan, IC London-Almaty, Tenrgi Bank, BCC Invest, Tsesna Capital. The purpose of the project is to increase the financial literacy of young specialists and provide them with practical skills of operation on the stock market. Students are given the opportunity to trade in the most liquid securities in the Kazakh market, most of which is part of the KASE Index. At the beginning of trades, each participant is provided with a portfolio worth one million tenge to be managed. The main task of students is to form the best portfolio which will determine the winners of the competition. This competition has been conducted by KASE group of companies since 2008. [2018-11-02]
