/REUTERS, May 14, 02/ - The bank's representative informed REUTERS about the fact that the net income of Kazakhstan Alfa-bank - daughter structure of Russian bank increased in 2001 to KZT141.9m (about $960,000) from KZT10.6m in 2000. According to his words the shareholders' capital calculated by the National Bank of Kazakhstan increased to KZT2.02bn from KZT1.07bn in 2000. By the end of 2001 assets reached KZT5.9bn in comparison with KZT5.1bn in 2000, liabilities did not change and were at KZT4.4bn. 99.54% of Kazakhstan daughter bank belong to the Russian Alfa-bank.
